Job description

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented PMO Analyst to support procurement operations and broader program management activities within the AFS IT organization. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who excels at managing processes, maintaining accurate financial and procurement data, and partnering with crossfunctional teams to drive operational efficiency.


The PMO Analyst will be responsible for the endtoend management of telecom purchase requisitions, tracking and reconciling financial activities, supporting PMO reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and federal standards.


The work
Procurement Operations:

  • Create, submit, and manage purchase requisitions; oversee full purchase order lifecycle.
  • Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices through vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate with Buyers, Project Teams, PO Processing, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely delivery of goods and ontime invoice payments.
  • Financial Tracking & Analysis
  • Extract, review, and submit large volumes of monthly invoices; perform monthly payment reconciliation.
  • Support cost tracking, spend monitoring, and procurement forecasting to maintain financial alignment.
  • Identify trends and support financial reporting for leadership.

PMO & Project Support

  • Assist with program dashboards, reporting updates, and routine PMO deliverables.
  • Support tracking of schedules, risks, issues, and project dependencies.
  • Contribute to governance compliance efforts and ensure timely completion of PMO requirements.

Process & Compliance Management

  • Maintain accurate, auditready documentation for all procurement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and ethical procurement practices.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related role.
  • Proficiency in procurement software Costpoint, CER, Servicenow, and Microsoft Office Excel.
  • High level of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks and managing data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be onsite in the Arlington, VA office on a monthly basis.
  • Must be US Citizen.
