Junior Cartographer โ€“ TS/SCI

Location: St. Louis, MO

TS/SCI Security Clearance

Role Description

We are presently identifying candidates for the following position: Junior Cartographer โ€“ TS/SCI. This position provides tradecraft and technical support for Foundation Data production, data integration, and data partnerships in support of the GEOINT Enterprise. The role requires a strong understanding of geography, Foundation Data processes and procedures, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to produce, review, and ensure the quality of geospatial data supporting map and chart production at various scales.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tradecraft and technical support for Foundation Data production, data integration, and data partnerships supporting GEOINT Enterprise operations.
  • Produce and review national and international Foundation Data for map and chart production at various scales using established Foundation Data processes and GIS principles.
  • Analyze and evaluate Foundation Data to ensure coverage, accuracy, currency, completeness, and applicability to mission and data requirements.
  • Participate in technical exchanges with Government and partner personnel at Government facilities, partner locations, and virtual collaboration environments worldwide.
  • Support Foundation Data production by developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), authoring how-to guides, documenting best practices, and training team members.
  • Ensure a current and accurate International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemption is maintained for all requested support involving partner interactions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Top-Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application and willingness to complete a CI poly upon request.
  • A total of 3 points of relevant background via one of the following pathways:
    • High School diploma and 3 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
    • High School diploma and 2 years of experience plus relevant AIT/MOS training.
    • Relevant Bachelor's degree and 1 years of relevant experience.
    • Relevant Bachelor's degree and relevant Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience to performing data extraction and Imagery analysis using ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro/MAXAR.
  • Demonstrated experience as part of a team completing timely and accurate foundation data reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience as part of a team performing foundation data quality control / quality assurance analysis using GAIT/QAC software program.
  • Demonstrated experience to operate successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as a team-member.
  • Basic experience understanding of and application of foundation data methodologies.
  • Basic experience to produce foundation data products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Technical Reference Document TRDv.4.x and UTRDv.1.x. (preferred, not required)
  • Demonstrated experience to communicate with clarity and accuracy both verbally and written (including virtually environments). (preferred, not required)
  • Extraction in support of crisis operations, geospatial Digital Twin, or AI/ML. (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of their applications, implications, and integration into daily geospatial and intelligence workflows. (preferred, not required)
Work Environment

Team environment, onsite (Springfield, MO), Monday - Friday, full-time, flexible schedule.
