Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Design Engineer to support the design, development, and documentation of electro-mechanical systems and components. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate with CAD and modeling experience along with a strong interest in technology development, prototyping, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
Assist with mechanical design, prototyping, and product development projects.
Support prototype builds, design validation, and testing activities.
Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot design issues and improve product performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision control.
Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for product improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
02 years of engineering experience (internships or co-ops acceptable).
Proficiency in SolidWorks for part modeling, assemblies, and drawings.
Basic understanding of product design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with engineering drawings and tolerancing.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Skills
Hands-on approach to design, testing, and evaluation of mechanical systems.
Familiarity with 3D printing technologies for prototyping or small-batch parts.
Basic exposure to electrical components and control systems (not expected to be an expert).
Experience supporting prototype builds and iterative design improvements.
