As a Junior Mobile Software Engineer at Carbon Robotics, you will learn from world-class engineers across software, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. You will get immediate, hands-on mentorship and play a key role in designing and implementing the mobile applications our customers use to control advanced robotic systems. We are looking for an ambitious builder who does whatever it takes to deliver safe, reliable software. That might include leaving your desk, heading out to the farm, and watching your code drive cutting edge robotics in the field.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Engineering teams and Product Managers to build our mobile farmer facing applications to ensure farmers have a great experience.
  • Quickly build and troubleshoot mobile applications that are simple, yet elegant using Flutter.
  • What you'll build delivers critical information to farmers about the efficacy of their weeding and the health of their crops around the globe, as well as enable seamless operations of their robots.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • Experience building mobile applications.
  • Experience with cross platform development using tools like Flutter or React Native.
  • Knowledge of interacting with a backend service, APIs and publishing to App Store
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • BS+ in Computer Science or related field.
  • Willing to work in the Seattle office 4 days per week.

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:
$120,000—$135,000 USD
