Location: Rancho Bernardo or Poway, CA (Candidate may work between both sites)
Schedule: Onsite, Monday – Friday (9x80 Schedule)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Job Summary

We're seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join with one of the leading Aerospace & Defence industry client Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone with 3–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience who enjoys sourcing, building candidate pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to fill technical positions.
In this role, you will support high-volume and technical recruiting activity, with an initial focus on entry-level recruiting initiatives while assisting experienced full-time recruiters. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative Talent Acquisition environment with supportive leadership, structured recruiting processes, and exposure to a stable, mission-driven industry. The team values professionalism, communication, accountability, and a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple candidate pipelines and ensure timely tracking, communication, and progress throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify job requirements, support requisition creation, and identify qualified candidates for technical and professional roles.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using online platforms, recruitment tools, resume reviews, and candidate assessment methods.
- Provide consultative support to hiring managers and candidates to improve hiring outcomes, candidate engagement, and offer acceptance.
- Support offer development, compensation discussions, background check coordination, and recruiting process compliance.
- Use recruitment metrics and pipeline data to improve sourcing strategies, outreach effectiveness, and overall recruiting performance.
Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 9x80 schedule.
- Location: Rancho Bernardo or Poway, CA. Candidate may work between both sites.
- Extended hours and travel may be required.
