About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Phased Array Antenna Lead Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and integration of advanced phased array antenna systems for next-generation satellite programs. In this role, you will lead antenna systems engineering activities, oversee system integration and testing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance solutions for space and ground segment applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in phased array technologies, beamforming, antenna system design, and satellite communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and integration of phased array antenna systems for satellite applications.
  • Provide technical leadership for active antenna system design, beamforming, and antenna performance optimization.
  • Oversee antenna testing, validation, and radiated performance measurements.
  • Define antenna system requirements, specifications, and integration strategies for space and ground segment applications.
  • Perform system modeling and simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, and other engineering tools.
  • Analyze antenna parameters and recommend design improvements to maximize system performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system integration, testing, and project delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Active antenna system design
    • Phased array antennas and beamforming technologies
    • Antenna performance analysis and antenna parameters
    • Antenna testing and radiated test facilities
    • Space and/or ground segment antenna design, specification, and integration methodologies
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and other engineering simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading antenna systems engineering projects for satellite or aerospace programs.
  • Expertise in RF systems, phased array technologies, and electromagnetic analysis.
  • Experience supporting satellite communications, payload development, or space systems integration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
