Job Description:
Infrastructure Engineer
GDIT is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering. This roleis responsible fordesigning, implementing, securing, andmaintainingenterprise infrastructure supporting critical Department of Defense missions across both cloud and on-premises environments.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader withexpertisein Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, automation, and enterprise infrastructure management. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively to deliverhighly available, secure, and scalable solutions.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Install, configure, andmaintainvirtualization platforms, operating systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex issues involvingcompute, networking, storage, virtualization, and enterprise applications whileidentifyingopportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to obtain andmaintainsystem accreditation packages, including security checklists, STIG compliance, diagrams, and required documentation.
Participate in cybersecurity activities such as vulnerability assessments, environment scans, penetration testing, and security audits.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 10+ years of related experience
Technical skills:
Certification:DoD 8570 IAT Level II Required
Infrastructure Management
Security clearance level: Active DoD Secret Required
Location:Fort Meade, MD or Chantilly, VA (100%Onsite)

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
