Job description

The Junior Maccabi Basketball League at the Katz JCC is an instructional and recreational basketball league for boys (Pre-K โ€“ 9th grade) and girls (Pre-K โ€“ 5th grade) that takes place annually December through March. This is a great way for kids to make new friends and be introduced to the fun sport of basketball!.

We are seeking Jr. Maccabi Officials to join our team!

Position Responsibilities:

- Teach and coach youth basketball skills

- Referee and facilitate youth basketball

- Manage stats of youth basketball games

- Coordinate games and scrimmages

As well as the above, a Jr. Maccabi Official will be able to create relationships with children and families within the program. Staff will create a nurturing and healthy environment while providing the safest and best instruction possible. Staff should be punctual and demonstrate a positive attitude every time they arrive for work.
