We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and support our Department of War (DoW) customer. The ideal candidate is a versatile software engineer who enjoys building modern, user-friendly applications and turning data into meaningful insights through dashboards, visualizations, SharePoint solutions, and PMO-support tools. This individual is energized by solving real mission problems, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders, and delivering secure, well-documented software that makes complex programs easier to understand, manage, and improve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software solutions that support dashboards, visualizations, collaboration tools, and PMO-oriented workflows.
  • Build and enhance user-facing applications, backend services, APIs, and data integrations that improve reporting, project visibility, and stakeholder decision making.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting views, and visualization capabilities using appropriate web, BI, or Microsoft ecosystem tools to surface operational and program data effectively.
  • Support SharePoint-based solutions, including site enhancements, workflows, document libraries, permissions, forms, and integration with other enterprise tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, customer stakeholders, and technical team members to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Assist with automation, process improvement, and workflow modernization efforts that strengthen PMO support and reduce manual reporting burdens.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, release support, and ongoing maintenance activities to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Help ensure solutions meet security, compliance, accessibility, and performance expectations in support of mission-aligned customers.

Work Experience and Job Skills:

  • 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering, full stack development, application support, or closely related technical roles.
  • Experience developing across frontend and backend technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue, and Python, C#, Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization solutions using web technologies, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting or developing SharePoint-based solutions, including SharePoint Online, lists, libraries, permissions, workflows, forms, or integrations with Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Understanding of relational databases, APIs, data transformation, and systems integration needed to support reporting and business process workflows.
  • Experience supporting project, portfolio, PMO, or operational reporting environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Department of the Navy (DoN) training programs, Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives, or Department of War (DoW) contracts is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate user needs into maintainable technical solutions.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development, automation, or AI/ML-enabled features is a plus but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor''s Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field of study.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Relevant Microsoft, cloud, SharePoint, Power Platform, visualization, or software development certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Examples may include Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Azure Fundamentals, Security+, or similar credentials aligned with the role.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present ideas, status, and technical concepts clearly, and comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation, user guidance, technical artifacts, and status reporting in a professional manner.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.

Travel:

  • Limited travel may be required based on customer and project needs.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly a routine office environment.
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Flexible in working extended hours.
