We value diversity of background, views and cultures. We celebrate people for their personal qualities, skills and contributions, recognising the power our brands have to influence and shape culture.

The Role

VETTE is seeking a Product Manager to lead our platform development across marketplace functionality, e-commerce infrastructure, and strategic technology partnerships. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, design, and external integrations, ensuring our tech stack, partner ecosystem, and product roadmap scale cohesively.

You'll own the product lifecycle from strategy to execution - working closely with highly technical engineering teams, design-led stakeholders, and third-party partners (e.g., Shopify, Substack, Meta, Ethyca, and other backend tools).

What is VETTE?

VETTE is a two-sided marketplace connecting brands to creator talent and their audiences at scale and provides creators intuitive tools to build their own online specialty stores.

What will you be doing?

  • Translate the company strategy into clear product priorities and releases

  • Balance user experience, technical constraints, and business goals

  • Own product documentation, specs, and success metrics

Technology & Platform Ownership

  • Oversee platform architecture decisions with engineering leadership

  • Manage the evolving VETTE tech stack and tooling ecosystem

  • Ensure scalability, performance, and integration reliability

  • Lead build vs. buy decisions across backend tools and infrastructure

Partnership Integrations

  • Own relationships with key platform partners (Shopify, Meta, Substack, Ethyca, etc.)

  • Scope, prioritise, and launch new integrations

  • Work with engineering to ensure clean API implementations

  • Identify strategic partners that unlock new marketplace capabilities

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with design to ensure a design-led product approach

  • Lead sprint planning, prioritisation, and delivery coordination

  • Act as the primary bridge between business, engineering, and design teams

  • Maintain visibility into timelines, blockers, and dependencies

Marketplace & E-commerce Optimisation

  • Improve onboarding, merchant tools, transaction flows, and analytics

  • Optimise conversion, retention, and platform usability

  • Support monetisation features and new marketplace mechanics

About you:

  • Strong experience in product management (or equivalent startup experience)

  • Experience building marketplace, platform, or e-commerce products

  • Strong technical fluency working with APIs, integrations, and backend systems

  • Proven ability managing engineering and design teams simultaneously

  • Experience launching third-party integrations or platform partnerships

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments

Strong Plus Factors

  • Experience with Shopify ecosystem or headless commerce

  • Background in creator platforms, media tech, or consumer marketplaces

  • Familiarity with privacy/compliance tooling (like Ethyca)

  • Experience with growth experimentation or monetisation systems

  • Prior startup or early-stage company experience
