Junior Full stack DeveloperRed Cedar is seeking a high-performing Junior Full stack Developer to work within a fast-paced, remote Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating within your scrum team on a daily basis. In this role, the Full stack Developer will accomplish the following:Analyze software requirements and provide solutionsPerform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutionsProvide Full Stack software development support for User Interfaces, REST APIs, Data Access LayersEnsure software developed meets the project coding standards to pass all quality stages within CI pipelineWrite automated test such as: unit, integration, functionalDevelop in environments that utilize CI/CD tools for build, test, secure and deployDevelop in a Docker and Docker Compose environmentDevelop data access layers with Database schemas using JPARequired Qualifications:Entry level to 3 years related experienceAgile Software Development experienceFrontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, ReactDeveloping data access layers with Database schemas using JPAExperience in containerization developing in a Docker and Docker Compose environmentExperience writing automated test such as: unit, integration, functional, 508Experience developing in environments that utilize CI/CD tools for build, test, secure and deployExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsAble to be responsive and available in a remote collaborative environment - being proactive, passionate, and show initiative using MS TeamsMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust ClearanceDesired Qualifications:Experience in Java stack/J2EE, Spring Boot, and JPAExperience working with AWS tools and environmentsExperience developing in a microservices architectureAutomated Test-Driven Development (ATDD) frameworks Selenium, Nightwatch, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNGExperience with secure development, coding, scanning using tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, ZAP and Twistlock/AnchoreExperience developing Web Services using REST/JSONWriting queries with relational databasesWeb technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQueryExperience with database tools such as Liquibase, Flyway, ElasticSearch, Solr/LuceneExperience working with Jenkins Continuous integration tools and DevOps automationDHS/USCIS experience preferred
