JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

$50k-55k

We’re hiring a Junior Sous Chef who’s ready to dip their toe into a leadership role that values mentorship, high standards, and good food done well.


At Butcher & Bee, we’re a vegetable-forward, Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant focused on hospitality, community, and craft. We’re looking for someone who thrives in the heat of service but also knows how to support their team and keep things running smoothly — this is a full-time, 50-hour/week position.


Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($50,000-$55,000)

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Skilled in the fundamentals — solid knife skills, safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices
  • Comfortable leading a line or expediting during peak service
  • Organized, reliable, and consistent in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Relieve pressure where it is needed the most...prep, desserts, assisting line cooks, washing dishes.  This is the ultimate team player position
