The Opportunity:

CACI has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to provide engineering support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and assist the Navy in the development, procurement and sustainment of cutting-edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarineโ€™s PMS 404 Undersea Weapons Program Office.

Responsibilities:
  • You will support engineering efforts that provide technical and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline for the program.
  • You will participate in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, and optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or technical field
  • Minimum of two years of experience supporting military clients in engineering
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills.
  • Experience with DoW/Navy program management, engineering, Government technical management, or Industry business / technical management
  • Active DoW Secret Clearance
  • Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with DoW acquisition process
