Job Summary:

The Electrical Construction Project Manager leads commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role combines office-based leadership with regular field site visits to oversee planning, financial performance, quality, and team coordination.

Working closely with field teams, clients, vendors, and internal departments, this position drives operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced construction environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and cost controls to meet profitability goals.
  • Interpret project documents, contracts, and safety regulations to guide successful execution.
  • Conduct regular field site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, pay applications, and change orders.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges through proactive problem-solving and effective decision-making.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field experience in commercial electrical, construction, or project management with demonstrated industry knowledge and leadership ability, preferred.l
  • Associate degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
  • Proven leadership in managing projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams in deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting, documentation, and policy interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to work in both office and field environments.
