Senior .NET Developer

Location: Brentwood, TN (Onsite)
Position Type: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: Up to $58/hr

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a new technology initiative focused on building and supporting enterprise software applications. This is a senior-level role for someone who enjoys owning projects from start to finish, solving complex technical problems, and serving as a go-to resource for the development team.

The team is seeking an experienced engineer who can work independently, partner with business stakeholders to define solutions, and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle. In addition to hands-on development, this role will play a key part in technical design discussions, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring other developers when needed.

What You''ll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and support software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and support
  • Create technical specifications based on business and functional requirements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within large-scale enterprise applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications while developing new functionality
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions
  • Work closely with business users and technical teams to deliver effective software solutions
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft .NET Framework development
  • Hands-on experience with C# and/or VB.NET
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience diagnosing, debugging, and maintaining large-scale software applications
  • Experience developing technical specifications from business requirements
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design, and development best practices
  • Experience collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

  • Experience serving as a technical lead, senior developer, or subject matter expert
