OUR CLIENT

This is a well established Architecture firm are seeking a Junior or Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team. This firm work with a variety of projects including institutional, healthcare, education and others - offering diversity across project sectors
THE JOB
As an architectural technologist, you will work collaboratively to produce full sets of drawings and construction documents, including detailing, assisting with design development. Some site visits, will be a part of the role, as well as working with clients and project teams to deliver work in a timely manner.
WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • An Architectural Technologist that can prepare a full set drawings in Revit with minimal supervision
  • 2 to 8 years of experience, with knowledge of relevant building code and experience with researching applicable zoning by-laws
  • Good knowledge of BIM is an asset
  • Experience working on some public project work preferred, but multi-family residential and commercial will also be considered
  • A portfolio (elevation, floor plans & section details) that demonstrates relevant experience
  • Ability to step into a fast-paced environment; deal with internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward
  • Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to do site visits to collect vital information
  • Site experience skills are an asset
