Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits
Responsibilities:
Supporting the design, integration, and deployment of robotic test automation systems.
  • Design and modify mechanical components and automation systems using 3D CAD.
  • Create drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
  • Support prototype fabrication, system builds, assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with design reviews, tolerance analysis, component selection, and verification.
  • Work with technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Identify improvements in cost, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and maintainability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with 3D CAD through school, internships, projects, or professional work.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and drawings.
  • Basic understanding of mechatronic systems, including electrical and pneumatic schematics.
  • Hands-on aptitude and willingness to participate in equipment builds and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person.

Preferred:
  • Siemens NX and/or Teamcenter experience.
  • Robotics, automation, electromechanical, or machine-design experience.
  • Experience with BOMs, production drawings, FEA, prototyping, machining, or 3D printing.
  • Internship, co-op, capstone, Formula SAE, robotics club, or similar hands-on experience.
