Our Civil Engineering team delivers a broad range of services, including site selection and planning, spatial analysis, digital terrain modelling, earthworks and site grading, drainage and flood modelling, and flood impact assessments. We work closely with our broader counterparts to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions across renewable energy and mining projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work, a recent major project win, and continued growth across key sectors, we are seeking a Civil Designer to play a key role in project delivery and contribute to the ongoing development of our design capability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality civil design outputs using Civil 3D or 12d
  • Develop and manage 3D earthworks models and associated 2D design documentation
  • Produce detailed design and construction drawings (concept through to IFC)
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Liaise with engineers, lead designers, and junior team members
  • Support and mentor junior designers where required
  • Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimates
  • Ensure all deliverables meet required technical, quality, and drafting standards
  • Contribute to safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery

About You
You bring demonstrated experience in civil design, including time in a similar senior or lead designer role, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 12D. Experience with Civil 3D and Open Roads is advantageous. You hold an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and are comfortable working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. You are known for your strong safety focus, attention to detail, and ability to build effective working relationships. With well-developed communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, you are committed to continuous professional development. Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly solar farms, will be highly regarded.
