Job description

The position is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities and works in coordination with the Installation team, Sales, and third-party marketing partners to turn completed projects into customer proof points, maintain a consistent content presence across blogs and social media, and keep marketing's CRM and budget data accurate and current. The Marketing Specialist role reports to the Marketing Manager.

  • Comfortable initiating and conducting phone or video conversations with customers, including scheduling and light interviewing

  • Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the ZOHO CRM (or a comparable CRM) for tracking leads and deal stages
  • Experience with budget tracking and spreadsheet-based reporting

Responsibilities
The following activities are required in this position:
  • Coordinate with the Installation team and the assigned salesperson to identify when an installation has been completed and is ready for customer follow-up
  • Reach out to the customer contact, schedule a call, and conduct a satisfaction survey or short interview
  • Write a clear internal summary of customer feedback and results, and share it with the appropriate internal teams (Sales, Service, Leadership)
  • Draft blog posts, social media posts, and other content based on customer testimonials for publication
  • Identify which testimonials have case study potential, and manage the process with the company's external third-party marketing partner to produce full case studies
  • Maintain a running tracker of testimonial/case study status so nothing stalls between stages
  • Write blog posts, social media posts, and similar marketing content in support of SEO/AEO and brand strategy
  • Follow established content standards, including focus keywords, meta title/description limits, and standard blog structure
  • Repurpose testimonials, case studies, and product updates into multiple content formats (blog, social, email, etc.)
  • Coordinate content scheduling and publishing with the Marketing Manager
  • Support light editing, proofreading, and formatting marketing materials as needed
  • Track and report on the marketing budget, coordinating with the Marketing Director and accounting as needed
  • Monitor and update lead conversion and deal-stage data within Zoho CRM across the full Opportunity pipeline
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to support pipeline visibility and reporting for Sales and Marketing leadership
  • Assist with general marketing administrative tasks: scheduling, vendor coordination, document organization, and other support as needed
  • Flag data gaps, stalled deals, or process breakdowns to the Marketing Director
  • Support trade show coordination as needed, including booth logistics, vendor and shipping coordination, and lead capture and follow-up
  • Help monitor competitor activity and share relevant news or changes with the team
  • Complete other needed requirements assigned by the Marketing Manager
