Hybrid 50% in Salt Lake City, UT
Our client seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and support high-quality, testable, and maintainable web applications. The role will contribute across the stack with Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js to deliver scalable cloud solutions and robust APIs. You will operate within an agile team, lead development phases from conception to deployment, and mentor junior developers to uphold engineering standards.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in and lead all phases of the software development lifecycle from conception through deployment as part of an agile team.
  • Collaborate with product management to refine requirements, decompose epics into user stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with long-term product strategy.
  • Develop high-quality, testable, readable, and maintainable full stack code for web and API services.
  • Provide support for production applications, including on-call support as needed.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of full stack software solutions.
  • Coach and mentor junior developers on best practices, standards, and engineering protocols.

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Angular.
  • 2+ years of experience building REST APIs with Node.js.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, core JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS and containerized environments, including serverless and Kubernetes services.
  • Experience with automation such as Jenkins pipelines, automated regression testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience using Node.js tooling and npm packages.
  • Demonstrated participation in software design and architecture for full stack solutions.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
