As a Senior Consultant, Migration Engineer, you will join a growing team focused on helping organizations modernize their technology environments and successfully navigate complex migration initiatives. This net new role is an exciting opportunity to work with enterprise clients as they transform legacy systems, modernize infrastructure, migrate applications and data to cloud platforms, and adopt modern operating models.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale transformation programs across a variety of industries while collaborating with cloud architects, platform engineers, business stakeholders, and project teams. Beyond delivery, you will contribute to the evolution of our migration methodologies, tools, accelerators, and service offerings as we continue to grow our practice.

As a Senior Consultant, Migration Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and support application, infrastructure, database, and data migration initiatives for enterprise clients.

  • Assess current-state environments and develop migration strategies, roadmaps, and target-state architectures.

  • Design and execute migration plans across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

  • Analyze technical dependencies, risks, and migration impacts while developing mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define migration requirements, success criteria, and implementation approaches.

  • Support cloud adoption initiatives across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.

  • Build and maintain migration automation tools, scripts, and repeatable deployment processes.

  • Perform migration testing, validation, performance tuning, and post-migration support activities.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues throughout migration projects and recommend effective solutions.

  • Contribute to project planning, status reporting, issue management, and stakeholder communications.

  • Support business development activities, including solution design, proposals, and client presentations.

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of migration best practices and standards.

Your Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering technology migration, modernization, infrastructure, or cloud transformation projects.

  • Experience planning and executing migrations involving applications, servers, databases, storage, or enterprise platforms.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.

  • Experience with migration tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

  • Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and enterprise architecture principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working within agile and project delivery environments.

Preferred

  • Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud certifications.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure VMware Solution, Active Directory, Exchange, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Experience with migration assessment and discovery tools.

  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or other automation technologies.

  • Consulting or professional services experience.

  • Experience leading workstreams or mentoring junior team members.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $84,000 - $128,000 annually.
