Position Summary

Parker Canada Division is hiring a Permanent Full-Time CNC Machine Operator (Machining Center/Lathe) in our Milton, ON location. This is an existing vacancy.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.

Salary Range: 28.00 - 30.00

Responsibilities

  • Able to read manufacturing paperwork/instructions/drawings or blueprints

  • Ability to access drawings, programs and documentations using a computer

  • Cross train in other functions in Cy MFG and other VSs to support as business dictates.

  • Knowledge of Shop math

  • Able to set up and operate CNC/manual equipment and tooling

  • Able to perform basic programming or tool offset adjustments

  • Inspection of parts (inspection techniques, interpretation of tolerances, gauges)

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

  • CNC lathes, machining centers, drilling center, saws

  • Micrometers, vernier calipers, tape measures, thread and plug gauges. 

  • Crane, jib crane, bench vise, various hand tools. 

  • Stoelting washer as well as other related secondary tools and equipment within the work center

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • Post-secondary education in CNC Machining Certification or currently enrolled in program

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC Machines, including set-up and machining operations

  • Familiar with machining Thread forms ( NPT, SAE , BSPP)

  • Able to use Mazatrol programing preferred.
