Orlick Industriesis an automotive parts supplier producing aluminum components for many varieties of vehicles, with Honda being our largest customer.


CNC Machine Operator


Position Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient running of CNC machines and for performing parts inspection to produce high quality automotive parts.

  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour weekly rotating shifts

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a visual walk around inspection at the beginning of each shift to ensure the machine is safe.
  • Load castings onto fixtures ensuring proper orientation and location; ensure machine properly clamps the parts in place and activates the machine cycle.
  • Monitor automatic operation to detect issues and remove chip accumulations from fixtures and parts.
  • Verify dimensions of machined parts using multiple gauges.
  • Immediately notify the quality department or supervisor if any quality checks are not met


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong hand/ eye coordination.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
