Job description

FP1 Strategies, a political consulting firm based in Arlington, Virginia is looking for a Junior Associate to join its Media Buying team.
The Junior Associate will be responsible for helping execute media buys and assisting the media buying team as needed.
Specifically, the Junior Associate will handle:
  • Trafficking television and radio spots
  • Working closely with FP1 media buyers assisting with operations and general administrative duties
  • Coordinating with advertising team to ensure timeliness of spot distribution
  • Organizing and maintaining internal controls, such as Google Sheets, Box, etc.
  • Cross-trained in proofing and spot distribution in order to assist Advertising department as needed
  • Providing general team assistance, as needed

Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Self-starter who can tackle projects in both a team setting and independently
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Flexible to the changing needs/responsibilities of the workplace
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
  • 1-3 years of political and/or advertising experience (relevant internships can count toward this)
