Are you a college student passionate about business, banking, or finance? APL Federal Credit Union is offering a 12-month volunteer opportunity (June - May) to join our Board of Directors as a Junior Associate Volunteer (JAV). This is your chance to gain real-world experience, grow your professional network, and contribute directly to high-level decision-making within a respected financial institution.
What You'll Do:
- Attend Board Meetings: Participate in all Board of Directors meetings-virtually or in person-and offer your perspective as a student voice. (4th Thursday of each month)
- Potential to Attend Committee Meetings: Various times during the year.
- Join Strategic Offsites: Contribute to key conversations during our annual strategic planning event. (typically held in January)
- Collaborate on Projects: Work alongside Board members on real business and finance initiatives.
- Build Relationships: Connect with seasoned professionals and mentors committed to your growth.
