SUMMARY:

Our client, a well-respected law firm in Timonium-Lutherville, Maryland, focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related probate matters. The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Estates & Trusts practice.This opportunity offers hands-on experience, direct client interaction, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and strong long-term growth potential within the firm.The firm's immediate need is primarily focused on estate and trust administration, though estate planning matters will also be part of the practice. The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm's attorneys in advising clients, managing estate and trust administration matters, communicating with outside professionals, and supporting the overall needs of the practice.

RESPONSIBILTILES:

- Handle estate and trust administration matters

- Assist with estate planning matters and related document drafting

- Communicate with clients, fiduciaries, accountants, and financial advisors

- Prepare legal correspondence, probate filings, and related documents

- Collaborate with attorneys and supervise support staff as needed

- Maintain organized case management and provide responsive client service

QUALIFICATIONS:

- J.D. from an accredited law school

- Licensed or eligible to practice in Maryland

- 0-3 years of experience preferred

- Prior estate and trust administration experience preferred, but not required

- The firm is also open to considering more experienced candidates with relevant Estates & Trusts experience

- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required

- Detail-oriented with a professional and client-focused approach

Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation commensurate with experience

- Junior associate compensation generally ranges from $110,000 - $160,000

- More experienced candidates may be compensated at a higher range based on background and experience
