Junior Purchasing and Bookkeeping Agent

On Display is actively searching for a junior purchasing/bookkeeping agent to support our company and staff. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable entering data into an ERP system with accuracy and a high attention to detail.


Starting in 1997, On Display is a second generation family owned and operated full-service printing company. We utilize multiple large format digital printing presses, large format digital cutting equipment, print finishing and fulfillment equipment operating over three production shifts. On Displayโ€™s comprehensive and state of the art range of capabilities is made possible by our highly trained, experienced and passionate staff backed by a management team that believes in giving our customers the best product and experience by our commitment to identifying and fostering talent, teamwork and respect. Primary role overview:

This role will work directly with office staff to provide purchasing, bookkeeping, administrative and general office support for the day-to-day operations of the company.

Candidates must interact well with vendors, customers, and office staff. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. An associateโ€™s or bachelorโ€™s degree in business, accounting or a related field is required.


Skills required:

ยท      Strong oral and written skills for communicating with vendors, internal stakeholders, and finance team members.

ยท      Proficiency in Excel software.

ยท      Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office software.

ยท      Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities from various sources in the company.

ยท      Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort working independently.

ยท      Ability to organize items into efficient systems for future company wide use.

ยท      Associateโ€™s or bachelorโ€™s degree in business, accounting or a related field is required.


Responsibilities:

ยท      Research vendors, compare pricing and place orders to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

ยท      Issue purchase orders from ERP system..

ยท      Assure problems related to delivery, quality or pricing are properly resolved.

ยท      Maintain up to date records of vendor pricing, agreements and terms.

ยท      Review invoices of purchased materials and compare to vendor estimates and receiving forms for accuracy.

ยท      Assist with bookkeeping and financial record keeping.

ยท      Complete monthly bank account and credit card reconciliation.

ยท      Support our CPA with data needed for monthly and yearly accounting.

ยท      Administer and oversee facility services and contracts.

ยท      Assist with answering incoming calls and greeting visitors at the main entrance.
