What Youll Do

The Senior Asset Manager will play a critical leadership role in maximizing the performance, value, and long-term strategy across a complex and growing portfolio of industrial assets. In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide active mentorship and leadership to junior investment and asset management staff, reinforcing and improving standardized frameworks for underwriting, credit reviews, and reporting to enhance overall team synergy and output.
  • Oversee the leasing proposal process in collaboration with the leasing team, providing approval and strategic direction to ensure all deals align with business plan objectives and exceed proforma underwriting across the broader portfolio.
  • Serve as a senior internal market expert and mentor to junior team members by co-managing key broker relationships and conducting detailed market/submarket research (including lease/sale comps, supply/demand fundamentals, and occupancy trends) to inform underwriting and competitive positioning.
  • Act as a strategic thought leader in capital deployment and portfolio optimization, leading recurring discussions with equity and debt partners to provide insights on leasing strategy, quarterly performance, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Direct comprehensive financial planning and forecasting processes, collaborating seamlessly with property management, operations, and accounting to oversee annual budgets, cap-ex, distributions, and cash flow while identifying opportunities for cross-portfolio efficiencies.
  • Partner with the Development team to monitor TCO dates, lease commencement dates, construction budgets, and weekly progress reports, ensuring smooth transitions from development to active management and proactively mitigating operational risks early in the asset lifecycle.
  • Lead financial due diligence efforts for key capital transactions and complex recapitalizations/dispositions to safeguard and maximize asset value.
  • Synthesize complex property and market data into actionable reporting and recommendations for senior leadership, proactively shaping asset-level and portfolio-wide strategies to align with broader organizational goals.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors degree required preferred study in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Business.
  • 7+ years of professional background with 5+ years of experience in real estate financial analysis or asset management preferred (proven experience guiding portfolio strategy or leading teams is a plus).
  • Ability to travel
