Junior Altium Designer Jobs in Raleigh, NC (NOW HIRING)

We''re hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer with 6+ years of experience designing electrical and electronic systems across the full product lifecycle.

You''ll own schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit design in Altium Designer, working across analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal domains. You''ll troubleshoot complex hardware issues, drive root cause analysis, and lead electrical design through every phase of product development, from concept to manufacturing transfer.

This role sits at the center of a cross-functional team. You''ll coordinate daily with Mechanical, Software, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory groups, and you''ll mentor junior engineers along the way.

What you''ll do:

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems for new and existing products
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation in Altium Designer
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex hardware issues
• Support design verification, validation, and qualification
• Evaluate trade-offs across cost, manufacturability, reliability, and performance
• Support prototype builds, debug, and manufacturing transfer
• Mentor junior engineers

What you bring:

• Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years in electrical/electronic product development
• Advanced Altium Designer proficiency (schematic capture + PCB design)
• Strong background in circuit design, power electronics, analog/digital hardware
• Track record of independent, cross-functional technical leadership
• AutoCAD Electrical, Visio, PLC/industrial controls, or EMI/EMC experience is a plus
