Job Description:
The Fresh Factory is a market leader in food production specializing in healthy concepts and products with clean labels located in Carol Stream, IL. We provide full-service, clean-label food processing solutions and full-service cold-pressed juice and beverage solutions.
Role:
We are searching for a full-time Warehouse Associate. This individual will be responsible for assisting the flow of materials in and out of the facility, including order picking, receiving, storing, inventory management, production support, and overall warehouse organization.
Responsibilities:
• Pick and verify orders for outbound shipment
• Receive, weigh, and accurately log and label incoming materials and outbound shipments
• Inspect all incoming raw materials to ensure they fall within established food quality specs
• Keep the warehouse neat and organized
• Supply production with necessary raw materials and packaging, transfer produced goods into storage
• Enter system transactions across shipping, receiving, cycle counts, production supply, finish good creation and scrap.
• Manage inbound and outbound carriers to minimize load/unload time; create Bills of Lading & necessary paperwork
Qualifications:
• Must have strong attention to detail including problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in warehouse and high computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and willingness to work as a member of a team
• Forklift certification
• Must speak English; Conversational Spanish (a plus)
Physical requirements:
• Move/Lift up to 50lbs; move pallets with pallet jack
• Must be able to read text and instructions
• Must be able to stand most of the day
