Job description

Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting two (2) JTAC Instructors in Aberdeen, North Carolina, and Columbia, Georgia in support of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the mission of this Air Force Special Operations Command Geographically Separated Unit (AFSOC GSU). This position is contingent upon contract award. Roles and Responsibilities * Maintain JTAC, JTAC-I and JTAC-E qualifications in accordance with, JFS ESC AP MOA 200401, SOCOMM350-5, AFSOCI 13-50, and Wing, Group or unit guidance.
  • If re-qualified or upgraded as a JTAC-E, they will conduct initial, recurring, Spot, no notice, and Evaluator evaluations on JTAC trainees, JTACs, JTAC-I's, and JTAC-E's in accordance with AFSOC, Wing, Group and unit guidance.
Receive initial and recurring JTAC evaluations from unit JTAC-E PM or designated JTAC-E and approved in writing by their applicable unit commander. Contractors will not receive evaluations from another contractor. Contractors will not give initial JTAC-E evaluations. Required Qualifications and Experience A prior 7-level USAF-Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), or Combat Controller (CCT), or sister component equivalent. (Army FSO, Navy JTAC, Marine ANGLICO).
  • Shall have a minimum of 2 years Joint SOF experience
  • Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC)-Prior or Current.
  • Special Mission Unit experience
  • Experience in Ground Assault Force Operations -Basic Instructor Course
  • Baseline Combat Life Saver, Basic Life saver, CPR -Graduate, U.S.A.F. Weapons School
