By joining JRC, you'll be part of a team that supports strategic deterrence and defense missions, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the United States and its allies. Join JRC's Systems Engineering & Integration Team! JRC is actively recruiting an Analyst to join our amazing team in Cape Canaveral, FL. This position reports to JRC's Systems Engineering and Integration Division. The Analyst will work closely with US Navy government personnel at the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Ashore Test Facility. This position will interface and engage with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Branches, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, and other SSP contractors to support operations, maintenance, and testing at SWS Ashore. The Analyst will be responsible for operational and programmatic documentation management and authoring. This position requires a current SECRET security clearance from the DoD. What You'll Do * Provide detailed knowledge of the SWS, SSP, and continuous process improvement * Draft, edit, approve, and maintain SWS Ashore operational, procedural and programmatic documentation * Provide technical expertise and guidance in design reviews, trade studies, and other technical meetings * Aid in configuration management * Format specifications, directives, and correspondence in accordance with Navy manuals * Facilitate the development, maintenance and reporting of documentation program activities What You Bring to the Table * An intimate knowledge of SSP's culture and practices * 5+ years developing, maintaining, and managing SWS documentation * Subject matter expert in operational documentation development and documentation development applications * Experience using Vulcan/Common Authoring Environment application * Experience using Windchill/ACE * Strong technical writing and configuration management skills * A willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks * Initiative to seek out tasking * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate among multiple industry partners * An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or above (or have held an active DoD clearance within the last 2 years) * Ability to support required travel * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) * High quality communication and presentation dexterity Bonus Points * Experience with the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program and SSP, including its culture, practices, and key stakeholders * Familiarity with technical, logistical, and program issues with SWS and SWS Ashore * Prior Navy SSBN experience At JRC we offer... * A competitive compensation package * An exceptional employee benefits program, providing support for our team members' well-being and success * The chance to contribute to a high-profile Department of Defense programs and make a positive impact * A collaborative work environment where teamwork, creativity, and innovation thrive * Opportunities for professional growth and development, helping you advance your career
