Job description

AP Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fun company in Scottsdale who is in search of an AP Specialist.
This is a fully onsite opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and is comfortable preparing and posting journal entries. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The salary is up to $60,000
Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, matching, and payment processing.
  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup and updates.
  • Process ACH, wire, and check payments.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and employee expense reports.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records within QuickBooks Online.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and build positive working relationships.
  • Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Experience preparing and posting journal entries is required.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
