  • Prepare and enter journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Record foreign-currency transactions and calculate exchange gains/losses
  • Perform advanced financial and variance analysis during month-end close
  • Calculate and record accruals and prepayments
  • Communicate with international branches and report on worldwide offices
  • Create detailed spreadsheets, financial reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
  • Assist with month-end close tasks
  • Maintain working knowledge of company policies, procedures, systems, and accounting processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with staff, vendors, and other business contacts
  • Respond promptly to requests or issues and provide complete information or resolution
  • Support the Account Manager with corporate financial activities and projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum two years’ general accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPA license a plus
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Ability to type data and use a PC for long periods of time
