Business Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.

Summary:
The Business Analyst will support DHS CISA by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements to improve processes and enable IT modernization. This role bridges stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet mission needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.

  • Develop process maps, functional specifications, and user stories.

  • Support Agile teams with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure traceability between business requirements and delivered technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and program teams to validate requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis or process improvement.

  • Strong skills in requirements documentation and stakeholder communication.

  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence preferred.
