Job description

Product Marketing Manager, Land.com
Job Description
Product Marketing Manager, Land.com
Austin, TX
About CoStar Group
CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. We empower people to discover properties, insights, and connections that improve their businesses and lives.
About Land.com
Land.com is the leading marketplace for rural and recreational land, connecting buyers and sellers across a complex and diverse market. Land transactions require more education, nuance, and specialization than traditional residential real estate, creating a unique opportunity to shape how this category evolves digitally.
This position will be based onsite in our Austin, TX office.
Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager is part of the Marketing team and leads positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Land.com products and features. This role partners closely with Product and Sales, alongside broader Marketing, to drive adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.
This is not a narrowly defined product marketing role-success requires a willingness to operate across strategy, execution, and cross-functional support.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and hands-on executor who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative, and less structured environment.
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates customer value
  • Translate product functionality and technical details into compelling, customer-facing narratives
  • Partner with Product Management to shape go-to-market strategy and inform product roadmap decisions
  • Lead end-to-end execution of product launches, including planning, asset development, and post-launch optimization
  • Create sales enablement materials and insights that support deal conversion and product adoption
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning and strategy
  • Support development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Contribute to content, campaigns, events, and customer-facing initiatives as needed
  • Coordinate customer research activities including interviews, potential focus groups, and client testimonials

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Research teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in real estate, marketplaces, or digital platforms
  • Familiarity with rural land, land brokerage, or related markets
  • Familiarity with adobe products like Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, etc
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Key Characteristics
  • Hybrid thinker-doer comfortable with both strategy and execution
  • Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional environments
  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Why This Role
High-impact role with direct influence on product growth and market positioning
Opportunity to shape product marketing within a growing and evolving category
Broad exposure across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Research teams
