Job description

This position actively prospects and develops new deposit relationships through the use of networking events, existing clients, centers of influence, internal and external prospect lists, and collaboration with other bank departments such as commercial lenders. Specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Consistently meet and exceed goals as defined by Management related to deposit growth and fee income.
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities.
  • Self-source leads and develop strong referral partners.
  • Participate regularly in outside community organizations and events to increase the Bank's local presence and brand.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships through networks and community/business associations.

Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • Minimum three years of successful sales/deposit gathering experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently to achieve ambitious sales goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills required, including ability to work across a variety of departments
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail
  • Prospecting, sales planning and closing skills with the ability to sell to customer needs
  • Ability to travel
