Jira Analyst – Engineering Project Management Overview / Summary

The JIRA Analyst provides tracking and coordination support for engineering and project management activities. This role supports pre-launch and launch activities, coordinates vehicle and part readiness, tracks JIRA tickets from submission through closure, and communicates with cross-functional teams through both written and verbal communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and project management support throughout engineering gateways and launch phases.
  • Serve as a cross-functional coordinator and point of contact among engineering, program, finance, quality, software, purchasing, vehicle operations, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide prototype, pre-launch, and launch build-site support.
  • Coordinate ECU hardware and software update events.
  • Track vehicle and part readiness and support on-time part delivery.
  • Coordinate the resolution of build issues.
  • Support vehicle and part sign-off activities.
  • Facilitate communication between vehicle program, software, prototype build, and launch teams.
  • Track JIRA tickets from initial submission through closure.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Program, and Purchasing, through written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience providing tracking and coordination support for engineering or project management activities.
  • Experience working with JIRA tickets from input through closure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting prototype, pre-launch, or launch activities.
