Joining the company at a transformational time, you will lead Finance for Jewelry Services as the strategic and operational co-pilot to the President of Jewelry Services. The VP will own financial strategy, network economics, and profitability transformation across the Services portfolio — driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and execution excellence throughout the repair, warranty, custom and refurbishment network.

The Jewelry Services portfolio spans jewelry and watch repair, warranty services, appraisals, ESA sales and servicing, custom jewelry, vertical integration of assembled jewelry, and refurbishment of owned jewelry. The network includes 200+ Design and Service Centers, five central repair facilities (including Canada), the Custom Operations Center, and HQ Diamond Room operations.

This is not a reporting role. This leader will shape decisions, challenge assumptions, and convert strategy into financial and operational outcomes as a member of the Jewelry Services Senior Leadership Team.

An inspiring leader, you will model Signet values, leading and mentoring a high performing team — including the Director of Jewelry Services FP&A and the JS Data Analyst — to drive innovative service strategies and set the course for extended and sustainable growth with our brands and across Signet.

Core AccountabilitiesP&L and Planning Leadership
  • Own financial performance for Jewelry Services, including full ownership of network standard costing and the reporting of all financial results.

  • Develop and own the annual operating plan, monthly and quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, executive reporting, and score carding.

  • Drive margin accretive growth , capital discipline, and ROI rigor across pricing, network utilization, inventory, facilities, and investments.

Finance as a Growth Engine
  • Lead FP&A, costing and data analytics with a focus on decision velocity , not reporting.

  • Translate complex financial and operating insights into clear executive and Board narratives.

  • Partner with Accounting, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and enterprise FP&A to ensure controls, data integrity, appropriate accounting treatment, and financial plan integration.

  • Lead monthly performance reviews covering actual results, forecast variances, emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and agreed corrective actions.

Operations & Commercial Partnership
  • Actively influence:

  • Repair volume, network utilization and optimization

  • ESA sales and claims economics, custom sales and appraisals

  • Refurbishment and assembled jewelry volume and cost

  • Establish clear accountability with the operating team for the drivers of performance, and lead the weekly Jewelry Services operational cadence to surface efficiency and profitability opportunities.

  • Analyze ESA claims trends and their impact on revenue recognition in partnership with the warranty and insurance team, identifying the drivers behind changes in trend.

  • Partner with Jewelry Services leadership to identify and execute growth and cost savings initiatives.

Transformation & Process Excellence
  • Modernize planning, forecasting, costing and performance management for a maturing finance capability.

  • Introduce automation, simplification, and discipline where needed.

  • Identify performance risks early, recommend actions, and track decisions through implementation.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with material financial impact.

People & Culture Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performance finance and analytics team.

  • Develop future leaders with strong business acumen and an ownership mindset.

  • Model Signet values while raising the performance bar.

Experience & Successful Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field required; CPA, CMA and/or MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in Finance.

  • Proven P&L ownership in retail, services, or consumer environments.

  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and margin improvement.

  • Manufacturing or cost accounting experience, including KPI development and score carding.

  • Experience partnering directly with Presidents / GMs / C-suite leaders, with the ability to constructively challenge senior operating leaders.

  • Strong executive presence; credible with Boards and senior stakeholders, communicating complex financial and operating issues simply.

  • A record of building processes and teams where the finance capability is still maturing.

  • Strong data analytics capability; prior insurance and/or warranty industry experience a plus.
