Jerseyville, IL

Part-Time Cook (30 Hours/Week)
Mostly daytime hours; some evenings may be required, every other weekend availability needed.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at High Point Residence in Jerseyville. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while meeting their dietary requirements and preferences. You will work closely with the dietary team to plan menus, maintain kitchen operations, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare or senior living

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs
