Now Hiring: CBRF Caregiver
Open Shift: 6:00 PM โ 6:00 AM | 3.5 days per week | Every other weekend required
High Point Residence Port Washington is seeking a compassionate and dependable CBRF Caregiver to join our team. This role is an important part of supporting our residentsโ daily care, comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
About the Role
As a CBRF Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to residents while helping maintain a warm, safe, and respectful environment. You will work closely with the care team to follow individualized care plans and ensure residents receive the support they need each day.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Administer medications and treatments as directed and within CBRF guidelines
- Monitor and document changes in residentsโ health, behavior, and daily needs
- Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
- Support residents with dementia or Alzheimerโs with patience and compassion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CBRF certification required
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Experience in a CBRF or senior living setting preferred
- Dementia or Alzheimerโs care experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude
