- Schedule: Full-Time, 7-on/7-off (Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Week is Monday - Sunday)

This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.
What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Hospitalist to join an employed position at our Level 1 trauma center and flagship location.
- Expansive Collaborative Network: Join a high-volume, 24/7 emergency care and level III trauma center. We deliver care for life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
- Maximum Scheduling Flexibility: Benefit from a part-time schedule and the rare advantage of a schedule published six months in advance. Remain on the same team during your 7-on schedule for patient continuity.
- Opportunities for Additional Shifts: With a collegial team of providers, you have consistent, ongoing opportunities to pick up additional 12-hour day or night shifts as they fit your lifestyle.
- Focused Clinical Scope: Manage a daily census of 12-15 patients within a closed ICU environment where dedicated intensivists and ICU staff handle critical care.
- Procedural Autonomy: Perform procedures if interested. While the team does not mandate procedures, they offer retraining for physicians looking to sharpen those skills.
- Advanced Academic Setting: Practice within a facility hosting multiple residency (IM, FM, Anesthesia) and fellowship programs (Cardio, Critical Care).
- Licensure & Education: Must hold an MD or DO and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Experience: Hospitalist experience is a plus, though high-potential new graduates will be considered.

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferences
- Internal Medicine Specific: This team specifically seeks IM-trained physicians; Family Medicine candidates are only considered in very rare circumstances.
- New Graduate Friendly: While prior hospitalist experience is a plus, the team is highly supportive of and will accept new graduates.
