Job description

Capital CJDR of Garner is seeking a dependable and motivated Automotive Parts Warehouse Associate to join our Parts Warehouse team in Wake Forest! In this role, you'll help keep our parts operation running efficiently by receiving, organizing, and distributing inventory that supports multiple Capital dealerships. What You'll Be Doing

  • Pull parts from inventory and deliver them to the appropriate area for processing and distribution. 
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts while maintaining an organized warehouse. 
  • Verify shipment quantities and document any discrepancies. 
  • Pack and prepare parts for shipping or delivery with accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Process manufacturer return claims and issue credits. 
  • Assist with verifying invoices, delivery receipts, and driver manifests.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory. 
  • Coordinate outgoing shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery. 
  • Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing parts. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records. 
  • Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For

  • Previous automotive parts or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is a plus. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Positive attitude with strong communication skills. 
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. 
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. 
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts throughout the workday. 
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a changing work environment.
  • Forklift and/or order picker certification is preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain certification if needed. 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screenings.
