Senior JDE Technical Analyst (Multiple Openings)

Duties: Lead JDE enhancements for implementation and support. Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, collaborate with JDE developers, test logic, and prepare for production in compliance with divisional standards. Manage requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of enhancements and modifications in line with divisional standards. Gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support custom JD Edwards E1 software projects, including interfaces and integrations with other internal enterprise applications. Design flexible, scalable solutions based on business requirements using optimal functional and technical designs. Utilize the JDE toolset, including C, C++, Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, DocPath, Gentran, Smarter Commerce, and Data Systems International (DSI) Data Collection middleware. Troubleshoot issues using various debugging methods, including C++ business functions. Write complex ad hoc SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain interfaces between JDE and various third-party software. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify requirements. Provide accurate development activity estimates. Provide consistent and accurate status updates. Develop and nurture consensus and working relationships with all Enterprise ERP teams and other business and IT teams; foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Assist with various implementation project phases, including initiation, build, testing, and deployment. Assist with quality assurance (QA) support for prototyping, development, and user testing. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes supported by the JDE solution. Research special topics as required as part of team or project responsibilities. Develop and maintain appropriate documentation.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems or related field of study, and 7 years of experience as a JDE Techno-functional professional. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: working with the E1 Development Tool Set: Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, Event Rules, Data Structures, Named Event Rules, Processing Options, Table Event Rules and Triggers, Business Functions, Business Services Server (BSSV), Orchestrator, New User Defined Objects (UDO) skill set, and Debug Tools; custom interface development; and JDE systems and applications at the application, architectural, and technical levels. Experience specified must also include 2 years of experience with Windows and Microsoft SQL Server Environment. Requires up to 20% domestic travel.
