Job description

Summary of the role

The JD Edwards Technical Analyst role is key to maintaining and advancing JDE EnterpriseOne environment. You will support and enhance our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) platform by modifying applications, functions, and processes. Working closely with IS business analysts and stakeholders, you’ll translate functional requirements into technical solutions—ensuring robust, scalable delivery aligned with business needs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and support EnterpriseOne objects including FDA/RDA forms, UBEs, business functions (BSFNs), and Orchestrations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with IT teams to resolve system errors efficiently.
  • Integrate JD Edwards with external systems via Orchestrator, APIs, and connectors.
  • Analyze functional specifications from business analysts and produce technical design documents.
  • Participate in full development lifecycle: build, unit testing, system integration testing, UAT support.
  • Assist with version upgrades, patches, and maintenance of UBE processes.
  • Perform data conversions and table design using OMW/TDA/Data Dictionary tools.
  • Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and adhere to JDE best practices.
  • Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and provide user support/training.
  • Stay current with JDE updates and recommend enhancements for process or automation efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) technical experience.
  • Proficiency with development tools: FDA, RDA, UBEs, BSFNs, Orchestrator, OMW.
  • Strong skills in JDE-related technologies: C-based business functions, SQL, scripting.
  • Experience translating functional specs into technical solutions and delivering across the SDLC.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Geography to cover and travel requirements

  • This is a global role with scope including all Trelleborg Medical Solutions sites.
  • Day and overnight travel up to 10% may be required to domestic & international locations.
  • For the first six months, this role will be fully onsite (Monday–Friday). After that period, the position may transition to a hybrid schedule with three inoffice days per week.
