In a job context, 'Jaws' does not typically refer to a specific job title. It is more commonly known as the name of a popular screen reader software called JAWS (Job Access With Speech), which is used by individuals who are visually impaired to access computers and digital content. If you are looking for information about roles involving JAWS software, these are usually accessibility specialists or assistive technology trainers who help others use this software effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a JAWS trainer?

To thrive as a JAWS Trainer, you need in-depth knowledge of screen reader technology, accessibility standards, and experience using JAWS software, usually supported by relevant certifications or training in assistive technology. Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and web accessibility tools is typically required. Strong communication, patience, and instructional skills help in effectively teaching visually impaired users and supporting their independence. These skills ensure that trainees can proficiently navigate digital environments, promoting equal access and workplace productivity.
