Job Description:
As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for providing corrective measures for malocclusions and other abnormalities of the teeth and jaws. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing and developing treatment plans, and using the latest technologies to correct the issues. Additionally, you will be expected to educate and counsel patients on the importance of preventive and maintenance care.Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Diagnose and treat malocclusions (improper bites) and other abnormalities of the teeth, jaws, and face.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Fit and adjust braces and other orthodontic appliances.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about dental health and proper oral hygiene.
  • Examine X-rays and other diagnostic images to better understand the patient's needs.
  • Evaluate and record dental and facial irregularities.
  • Monitor the growth and development of the jaws and teeth of children and adults.
  • Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Assisting with training of new clinical staff.
  • Participate in companywide trainings and meetings
  • Assisting with evaluations of new and existing clinical staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • License to work in Ohio
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Capability of working independently as well as on a team.

Working Hours/ Location:
  • Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
