Job description

Position: CNO Software Engineer
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Role Overview
The CNO Software Engineer develops and engineers computer network operations capabilities in support of national security missions. This role focuses on exploitation development, working on complex technical challenges within a specialized team environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Develop CNO capabilities using C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby

  • Support embedded hardware and software development efforts

  • Conduct vulnerability analysis and apply exploitation techniques

  • Analyze and interpret network protocols using tools such as Wireshark or tshark

  • Develop and maintain solutions in Linux-based environments

  • Use Git and other version control systems to manage code

  • Apply scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash) to automate tasks and support development

  • Contribute to engineering solutions addressing technical security challenges

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience (C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby)

  • 3+ years of embedded hardware/software development

  • Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploitation

  • Experience analyzing network protocols

  • Experience working in Linux environments

  • Experience using Git

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree
