Job Summary:
Direct Data Management, part of the Direct Companies family, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will collaborate with developers and analysts to build and improve custom software solutions, enhancing data management and streamlining workflows for clients across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
• Write clean, scalable code for web-based and desktop applications
• Design, develop, and test software solutions and user interfaces
• Adapt and enhance existing applications for new use cases
• Work directly with clients to scope projects, gather requirements, and provide technical support
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in code quality, process, and performance
• Participate in project planning, documentation, and team collaboration
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and development best practices
• Support internal initiatives and perform additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or Associate degree with 5+ years of relevant experience)
• Proficiency in C# and .NET web frameworks (Blazor, MVC, etc.)
• Experience working within an Agile development environment
• Strong understanding of SQL and database structure
• Experience with cloud-based authentication (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
