Job Description Summary: The Data Retrieval, Engineering, Architecture, and Management (DREAM) Group at Draper is seeking a Digital Engineering Data Solutions Architect to develop next generation Relational Cross Domain Data Digital Engineering Architecture for domains such as: strategic deterrent systems, missile defense systems, hypersonic missiles, space systems, precision guided munitions, and autonomous air/sea vehicles. Our multi-disciplinary teams innovate and develop solutions for full system development lifecycle in areas of importance for national security. Draper has adopted an integrated, model-driven digital mindset in solving Systems Engineering problems spanning the entire lifecycle. From early-lifecycle conceptual system design and architecture, detailed modeling, model-driven customer reviews, verification and validation, integration and testing, to deployment, surveillance and performance monitoring, Draper has a suite of Digital Engineering solution needs across our projects. Our thinking spans the entire gamut, from "as-designed" to "as-deployed" lifecycle phases in supporting uncompromised delivery of solutions. * Knowledge of open source Databases (postgres a must)
* Thorough knowledge/proven experience as a Database administration
* Assist in creating, analyzing, and presenting technical data, software and models to support system analysis, performance assessments, and decision-making. * Learn to communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels. * Experience with various types of data, data states, frequency, volume * Knowledge and interest in interdisciplinary work spanning Systems Engineering, Machine Learning, Database Administration and Data Science.
