Job Description
SAIC is seeking a Test Specialist to join our team in support of the Department of the Air Force's (DAF) Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure Processing Node (DIPN) Product Line Team. ABMS represents the DAF's cutting-edge initiative designed to enable flexible, next-generation command and control (C2) operations and to execute synchronized, multi-domain missions in the broader Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) framework.
The DIPN Product Line Team delivers foundational systems like the Deployable Digital Infrastructure (DDI) and Fixed Digital Infrastructure (FDI) to the warfighter, ensuring the availability of critical tools and systems in diverse operational environments.
Job Duties
  • Candidate will write test cases both manual and automated for development and operation.
  • Candidate will write test automation utilizing python programing language.
  • Candidate will document issues and bugs with the DDI prototype.
  • Candidate will build and maintain test environments including cloud, hardware, software, and network components.
  • Monitoring progress through appropriate metrics and management reporting.
  • Tracking and report status and other metrics against goals on an ongoing basis for service improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
  • 9 + Years with BS 7 + Years with MS 4 + Years with PhD.

Required
  • Required - BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline and 5+ years of experience with related engineering disciplines, domains, and applications.
  • Test data management and testing automation.
  • Technical expertise including knowledge of in Java and Database programming languages.
  • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration tools and source control tools.
  • Experience with agile development and testing methodologies.
  • The ability to work on a multidisciplinary team to include Software, Hardware, and Cyber domains.

Desired
  • Experience in test automation tools like REST Assured, Selenium, Junit, TestNG, SoapUI, scripting, performance, load and scanning capabilities; and comfortable with setting up automation when needed.
